Washington Gets 8th Federally Recognized Wine-Grape Region (KIRO 7 Seattle-Tacoma)
YAKIMA, Wash. — Washington’s wine industry continues to distinguish itself. The Wahluke Slope, a geographically isolated tract of land in southeastern Washington, soon will be designated the state’s eighth federally recognized wine grape-growing region.
